LMTS READY FOR NIGHT OF FIRE AT BULLRING (LVMS)
The Late Model Truck Series will be part of an action-packed evening at The Bullring at
Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday when the track hosts its annual Night of Fire.

Las Vegas veteran driver Mark Allison will look to protect his Late Model Truck Series points lead at the iconic Night of Fire at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday night.
Allison, a two-time LMTS points champion, will take aim at his third win of the season this weekend as he tries to add to his 21-point advantage, 252-231, over series co-manager Gary Wyatt. Sunday’s 35-lap feature will be the fifth of seven LMTS events on the 2022 schedule, so points will be at a premium during the one-of-a-kind race night.
Stan Mullis won the series’ most recent race on June 4 at The Speedway at Willow Springs in Rosamond, California, and Lee Keach also has a trip to the winner’s circle this season after taking the checkered flag at The Bullring on Hometown Heroes Night on April 9.
“It doesn’t get much better than the Night of Fire at The Bullring, and we can’t wait to get the trucks on the track in our home city,” said series co-manager Mike Riefler, who is third in points with 205. “Gary Wyatt and I are trying to give Mark a run for his money in the points race this year, and we have a lot of talented drivers who have a chance to win every time the green flag drops. It’s going to be a great weekend, and we can’t wait to see the fireworks, both on and off the track!”
The Bullring’s Night of Fire features one of the best fireworks shows in the region, and race fans can enjoy that special treat after a full night of racing at the 3/8-mile paved oval. Sunday’s race is the last event for the LMTS until the trucks head to Irwindale Speedway and Event Center in Irwindale, California, on Sept. 10, and the series will conclude its 2022 season back at The Bullring with Championship Night on Oct. 14.
