I want to thank both Bullring and USLCI management for moving the Bando races to after the National Anthem, and even some other races. The kids finally got to race in front of a crowd under the lights. More importantly, the kids in the crowd finally got to see the Bando's race, usually they just get to see them sitting in the pits afterwards because they raced so early in the day. They need to keep showcasing this class the rest of the year if they want to see more of these cars and build the class and build future racers in the Las Vegas area. I also think that with a bit of creative scheduling everyone can race after the anthem every week. Not sure what the magic is about trying to get everyone out of there by 10:30pm is, but I don't think too many people would mind staying later to watch good racing in the charger and SLM class.
My son loved the chance to race later in the night, more of our family and friends got the opportunity to watch him, and it was nice not to race when you could fry and egg on the track!
Let's hope this continues!!
