On Saturday night in Pahrump on the dirt track, Gary Wyatt and I, both being students of science, together attempted to disprove the theory that two objects cannot occupy the same space at the same time. We were unsuccessful to a great degree. For that reason, I want to try to locate a right front fender for my '76 Monte Carlo. Actually, I would be interested in finding fenders and a hood to really spiff up my car, and maybe paint it. Any leads may be helpful, and would be greatly appreciated. Yes, I know there has been a hood advertised on Craigslist for at least a year now for $225. I only paid $500 for my car, so that is out of the question. I offered the guy $50. He didn't reply. I found a hood and fenders out of state for $100. I might go and get them, but my truck uses so much gas, I would need to find a way to make the trip worth while. Maybe I can make a deal on the whole car. Does anybody need any other Monte Carlo parts?

Hey Verne, I don't have monte parts, but when you get car put back together. We can paint it for you. We have black, white , and of course a ton of Bug Blue. Probably could get any other colors you want. After night of fire, be pretty bored. Let me know.

Thanks a lot Ron. Part of my problem is that I don't have a place to paint it, other than in the driveway. I'm not sure what my neighbors would think of that. I really appreciate your offer, and might take you up on that. Probably will wait on a real paint job until I change out the body though. I have another one of those.
Thanks, Verne

My back yard is plenty big enough. We will take care of the where and how, just let me know when you're ready.
