It is quite obvious none of you grandstand backseat drivers have ever driven a race car. If you look at the results of the two races Saturday night, the problem and solution is very clear. First race, NASCAR rules, start fastest qualifier on pole, rest of field heads up. Results, fastest cars, finishing, no problems, good racing. Second race, typical bullring bull, fastest cars to rear, slowest cars up front. What do you people think is going to happen? Slower cars are going to do everything possible to block faster cars. All officials see is car spinning, and automatically car behind him spun him, so send faster car further to rear. These officials some how never see car in front brake checking, driving over their heads, or intentionally slowing to force car behind to hit them, thus sending that car to rear again. Second race proved it all, slower cars finish up front, faster cars finish in rear.
This is suppose to be a NASCAR track, where has NASCAR ever used the rule of starting slowest cars up front? Everyone knows thats a disaster waiting to happen.
It is pretty well known the LVMS bullring has its track champion picked before the season ever starts, and they will do whatever they have to, to make that happen. Last year a EWING TEAM car won the track championship. Officials will do everything they can, to make sure they don't win two in a row.
In '07 Dustin Ash dominated that track. He not only won the championship, he set a record for most wins in a single season. The last points race of the '07 season, on the track public announcement system, Mike Stafford offers Dustin to start at the rear of the field, and if Dustin can win, he will pay him an additional $1000.00. Dustin accepted the challenge, started at the rear, and won the race. Did Mike Stafford ever pay up? Dustin then takes two years off, giving everyone at the bullring the chance to do their homework, and catch up. He comes back and immediately started where he left off. The first race he leads over half the race from start, only to go out with engine problems. He then comes back to win the next three in a row. Officials not wanting to see Dustin break his own record of most wins in single season, put up a B.S. rule, if you win three in a row, you automatically, start at rear. Dustin Ash being one of the smartest and talented drivers to ever race at the bullring, sees the writing on the walls, and drives a Conservative race, giving officials what the intended to get, a different winner.
Now these officials do everything they possibly can, to make sure Dustin does not win another one.
These officials cannot stand the fact that EWING BROS. RACING has done their homework, and came out ready to show it and prove it.
Robert Ewing has done a tremendous job these past two years, and it is showing. Officials can't stand seeing, Robert, Dustin, and Halen, dominating the season, so they do everything possible to stop them. Its amazing, every Ewing car, passes tech with flying colors. So the officials have to make up stupid rules, stupid calls to stop them.
To call this track a NASCAR track is almost a disgrace to NASCAR. Do you see NASCAR making up rules as they go along to ensure Jimmie Johnson doesn't win five in a row. Only at LVMS Bullring do they change the rules weekly, to suit themselves.
After the next race on July 1st, there's a break of about five weeks before the next race. This should give racers the opportunity to do their homework, and try to catch up with EWING BROS. RACING. You can bet EWING'S will still be on top of their game plan, and continuing their homework.
