From a fan in the stands, the new line up system they call " dealer's choice" really puts some excitement back in the action. It would be really cool on a 2 groove track. It was good to see Charlie Wahl back in form last night and picking up a well deserved win. Charlie was a rising star in Legends cars 10 years ago, racing with and beating guys like Spencer Clark and Kyle Busch. With motors from John Keller and setup from Chris Bray he really got to show how much talent he has. He drove a smart race all the way and avoided most of the incidents to take the win with a last lap move on Bear, who had led almost every lap. Let's hope he can put together a deal to run more races in the future.

From a fan in the stands, the new line up system they call " dealer's choice" really puts some excitement back in the action. It would be really cool on a 2 groove track. Overwhelmingly, the fans I have spoken to love the "Dealer's Choice" restarts. It adds that "what if" component. Granted, it's a new concept to the Bullring and I know not all the drivers are happy with it, but that's because it's new. I don't know if the SLM were told about it before last night or not, but if they give it a chance and let the idea settle in, in a few races it will be a much smoother operation AND they'll start to utilize a lot more strategy and choosing will be less of a knee jerk reaction. I say this because I have seen it work successfully at other tracks. I also get what you're saying with the Bullring not being a 2 groove track, but it seems that recently more and more drivers are working the middle with better results. Not as good as the bottom groove, but good enough that they could use it to their advantage on a double file restart...

Everything has its pros and cons...it's called a choice for the drivers...but when I am told I have to go to the outside for "THE SHOW" that isnt right...LVMS put me in that situation and now I have a wadded up race car!!!

That's too bad that you weren't given a choice. It was hard to tell if Vinny tried to go inside before he cleared your quarter or what. From the fan point of view, you and the 35 car dominate the division too much. I'm not saying its anything fishy, but week after week you guys run away with the event- I think it hurts the fan interest. Last year when Vinnie and Matt Johnson were giving you some real competition it was fun to watch. Maybe its time to step up to Supers.

That's a big step cost wise to move up to SLM. You gonna fund his ride? I don't care much for the short track gimmicks, inversions, lane choice, etc. As long as a legal car is presented I've got no problem with someone dominating. Envious perhaps but it's up to me to up my game and bring a better car and become a better driver.

I use to be a great fan of Phil's and Mario's but after their displays of unsportsmanlike conduct these past 2 race seasons I am disgusted with both of them and their behavior.
Mario has become down right dangerous with his "technique" of blocking drivers from his buddy, Phil. But I must say that last night was the last straw. Mario should be canned for the rest of this season because of his behavior and his threatening actions during the Charger's race against Vinnie Raucci. I don't think that any car class needs to have this type of demonstration on the race track like we observed last night.
They don't like or want a fair race they only want to win. The SLM drivers would chew them up and spit them out! They would be lucky if they were even capable of finishing a race. It is one thing being the bid fish in a little pond, but to be the little fish in the big pond, well that has its consequences.
It is too bad that any of this had to happen. When you have an issue with someone take it to the pits - no need to show your ignorance and disrespect to the fans and other drivers with such a public display.
