My open car hauler trailer is slowly, but surely, rising from the ashes of destruction, resulting from a savage attack by an old Chevy pickup. To replace the 500 pound loading ramps, which came with it, I would like to upgrade to some aluminum ramps. Does anybody have any used ones, or know of a local source for ramps at a reasonable price? I have found them on line for about $200 plus shipping. To me, that is too much money to warrant the upgrade. If I can't find any cheaper than that, I will just struggle with what I have. I don't want to exceed the value of the trailer.
Thanks, Verne

The HF ramps are pretty light duty. I wouldn't want to put a Bomber on them. I've got aluminum ramps planned for me and when I get material I'll get enough for a couple of sets to see how the demand goes. Probably won't be before the break before I get to them.

The Harbor Freight ones I saw looked pretty whimpy. I have a motorcycle ramp, that looks stronger. Thanks for the reply though.
