LUCAS OIL MODIFIED STOLEN FROM HOTEL PARKING LOTMONROVIA, California (August 14, 2014) – A truck and trailer containing the Lucas Oil Modified Series race car of Vanessa Robinson was stolen from the parking area of a hotel in Monrovia, California, about 10 p.m. Thursday, August 14. Vanessa and her parents, Luz and Martin Robinson, are asking everyone in the area to be on the lookout for the stolen equipment and to contact them with any information. "They took everything," Luz Robinson said. "Vanessa's new race car was in the trailer and a spare motor from the old car was in the back of the truck." The truck is a 2004-2005 Ford F350 Dually with a 6.0 diesel engine and the spare race car motor in the bed. The trailer is a white 28-foot Wells Cargo with scratches on the driver's side. Robinson's race car and equipment are inside. Both the truck and trailer have New Mexico license plates. The Robinsons had checked into the hotel earlier Thursday after traveling from their home in Las Cruces, New Mexico, to race in the Lucas Oil Modified Series event at Irwindale Event Center Saturday, August 16, 2014. The Bomber Nation is asking everyone to help another racer. If you hear anything...Please contact Luz Robinson via Facebook HERE.
