Seems that the two tracks like to schedule races on the same night. With the economy tight, and the competition for the spectator dollar and racers very high, it would make sense to race on opposite weekends. How is some one that usually goes to the Bullring going to get a chance to watch some dirt racing without missing the races they enjoy on ashpalt? and vice versa? Sounds like a childish pissing match that is hurting both tracks, and is just flat out bad business. I for one would love to get out and watch some races on dirt but with my son racing at the Bullring and the lousy scheduling it just is not possible.

Yeah, well, I was planning to go to both, before Chad changed his to a night race. I like to support all of the Bombers. Now, I have to choose. It sucks!

That is my point exactly, it is hurting the gate at both tracks and limiting the number of racers or potential racers. My son loves watching dirt racing and wants to try it, but not at the expense of his Bullring racing.
What is a guy to do???

Havasu sounds like a great place to go for racing and/or watching racing, but doesn't solve the problem of wanting to watch or try some dirt racing!

I am planning to be there, Momma G. I hope to see you too. I probably won't spring for a pit pass though. It gets kinda spendy. The stands are fine for me, so I will hope to see you after the races.

They let us old folks get into the stands for $10, because we are special. For regular adults it is $12. I don't know how much pit passes are, but I think they are $30 or $35. Some things I just don't remember too well. Billy, how much is a pit pass?

Thanks, Billy. That's one thing I like about PVS - cheap pit passes. One time I went to Havasu, it was bald day, so I got into the stands for free. You can't beat that. Good luck, and have fun!

PVS's schedule is Largely decided by the IMCA and when IMCA will let Chad have a sanctioned races. The result is a race schedule that runs opposite with Mohave's. LVMS is not even included in IMCA's scheduling thoughts, since the bullring is a Nascar sanctioned facility. As far as night racing goes it's been that way in Pahrump in the heat of the summer long before LVMS even was built.

LVMS "IS" included in the IMCA calandar. You are forgetting about the 1 race that is held by IMCA... the biggest... the most cars.....the best payout.....in ANY IMCA event......The Duel in the Desert!! I got this from the LVMS Media site. (LVMS officials announced a contract has been signed with IMCA to continue the Duel in the Desert to 2013 and next year's A-Feature will pay $777 to start (up from $500 this year).
