Wyane, it sucks that Michael will have to sit out the rest of the year. I wish they would have just sanctioned him for the races with that motor. We want all the best competition out there running each week, and the more there is, the better it will make us.

Wayne, don't forget Dave's a slow leaner. He spent months thinking his budget 350 could run with 400's.

Pete,
Actually Dave understands it better than you do. Rules are made for a good reason. And, it is not to bend them, as you may think. In this case, the most important reason for the rules to be the way they are, is to make money for 600 Racing. They didn't make any money for Wayne's purchase of this problem engine, did they? It is 600's deal, and the most important part of their deal is for them to make money. I would think that a large part of that money comes from selling parts. Why do you think they put those exploding spindles and control arms on the Legends? I could be wrong, but I don't think it is really a safety item, as they advertise it. If it were just a safety measure, they could have designed some parts with bolts that break and could be replaced for a couple of dollars. They sell lots of spindles and control arms. Unlike the rules of the Bomber class, the rules for the Bandos are written down clearly, so that everyone has access to them, as well as the penalties for not following them. You know up front what you can and can't do. I agree that it is unfortunate that a kid has to sit out for 6 months. And, I do see it as an honest mistake on Wayne's part. But, think about a dad, who followed the rules and paid the price for a new, legal motor from 600 racing. How would he feel if there were no repercussion for someone, who did not follow the rules and did not pay what he had to pay? What it boils down to is that a person, who is involved in spec racing of any kind, has to accept and follow the rules of the people governing that form of racing. That's what spec racing is all about. I think Wayne accepts that. I don't understand why others don't.

Fluffy commenting on rules. I don't care who you are that right there is funny...
Wayne, rules are rules. You tried to save a few bucks now your kid has to sit out. Bummer for him that his dad made a bad call.

Verne, I doubt Dave understands the program better than me. He'd be running faster if he did and not running into walls so much. Waynes a good guy in my book, and that's seperate from whatever rule he broke.

Wayne,
Just food for thought - you don't want to make any hasty decisions about racing next year yet. You and your boys may want to take some time and think that over. Maybe it is time to take on the Legends.
Don't let the "haters", as you put it, win by walking away. If you all choose to do a different type of racing that's one thing but to get mad because of what other's say and quit only hurts the boys and in the end and the "haters" win! If for no other reason - stay just because it will PO the others that were so quick to point fingers. Show them that YOU are the bigger man! It is not about them anyway, it is all about your boys and their racing!

Verne, I doubt Dave understands the program better than me. He'd be running faster if he did and not running into walls so much. Waynes a good guy in my book, and that's seperate from whatever rule he broke. So it's cool to break the rules as long as Fluffy likes you? Got it. Weren't you just bragging about racing for 25 years? Then why are you in entry level hobby stock? Can you not cut it in the other classes? So, in my 6th circle track race in what's charitably called not a front runner (what did you call it, a budget build?) I'm within a second or so of your Fluffymobile? Come on Earnhardt, shouldn't you be 5 or 6 seconds faster than me? What did you spend, 10k on that ride? I'm not even at half that yet. You know Fluff, if you were half as good as you think you are you'd be winning every race. I got no problem taking you out should the situation present itself. Give yourself a wide berth next time you go by me. Never can tell the next time I'll be "running in to walls so much".

Dave, weren't you beat by a 14 year old girl in her first race in a $300 car? I'd say your a slow leaner. Your invesment in time and thousands of dollars kinda seems wasted after a performance like that, considering all. Most of us look for tenths you just keep looking for 5 or 6 seconds. Thinking I have 10k in that ride just shows what you don't know.
Your not racing at a lap or two down your just a race track orange cone. Have some pride, get some help figuring out how to become part of the race. Some might call me smart for racing in a class I can at least stay on the lead lap in. I think your a slow leaner for getting beat by a kid racing for the first time in a borrowed car that weighs 1,000 lbs more than yours.

Pete thank you for the kind words!Buzzy we are not quiting we are moving out of las vegas and will cont to race there! Morris Racing will never quit cause of the cry babies Thank's Wayne Congratulations to the Morris family for a solid showing last night. You contended for the win and showed everyone that its not about the motors. Too bad for Chris Trickle who was the victim of a questionable call from the tower, which gave the win to young Stafford. Hmmmm?
