Vinny - Jr. was robbed last night. If it were anyone other than Trickle, the race would have been stopped and analyzed right then and there. If all was fair Trickle would have been sent to the back and Vinny Jr. take the win. You might want to change your name - you could and would win then. Not greasing the right palms?

Buzzy and Vinny really ,robbed i don't think so look real close at what happened Vinny moved up the track and left the door open trickle drove his line on the inside he did not start below the white line when Vinny noticed him he drove him down the track and pushed him down im pretty sure trickle did not want to wreck so where was he supposed to go you are both racers can you answer that obvious isnt it and for him starting in the back he was driven up the track and spun by the yellow car he should have had his position back may bee ,may bee not but the bullring made the call and let him stay second sorry everyone hates because he is a top contender every week thats why this crap is up here on the message board for whiners that kid has a lot of character to be in winners circle and say the things he said congrats to Cameron and took it like a man. Oh yeah that was a big delay for them to announce the outcome knowing they finally made a decision to take the win away and give it to who else Staffords son LOL what a joke and by rule trickle will get second place the rule is one position for every car passed below the line I would like that 9year old to keep doing what he is doing he sure is getting a lot of exposure oh yeah i am a trickle fan. Its you parents that make this stuff so crazy Racing is Racing

racecar - try English next time you write something. Not quite sure what you said. If you doubt that Trickle was passing below the line you may want to bring a video camera to the next race and tape it. He has more than once passed under the line. I too have a video of this race and it clearly was a pass under the white line. The reason Vinny Jr. moved up was because if he didn't Trickle was going to hit him to move him up and out of his way. As to congratulating Stafford, what else was he going to say? I was cheated out of the win because for once the powers that be made a correct decision - after the fact but at lease took a stand? Next time OPEN your eyes before your mouth.

I was there and watched the Bando race in question, I think. Maybe I just wasn't paying attention. That could be. After reading these posts, I'm just not sure. Maybe I am thinking of a different race or something. No, I'm pretty sure I was there. Wasn't the pass made on a restart?

From the grandstands it looked like the #70 pushed the #911 high coming out of turn 4 before the start, and then filled the spot and passed on the inside right at the start/finish. I didn't see if he was below the white line, but I don't think he passed before the start/finish.
I have to say, I was rooting for little Vinnie, would have been nice to see him get his first win. Also, I knew there was going to be conspiracy talk about Cameron getting the win. Lastly, Chris was very mature in his speech after finding out he didn't get the win, maybe some of the adults on this forum need to learn from his example. But, regardless of the end result, it was some good racing this past weekend in the INEX divisions.

Okay, so I guess the pass was on a restart. Seems to me that the rules say you can't be "in the act of passing" on the inside before the start finish line on a restart. The "act of passing" is defined as the front bumper of the passing car being forward of the rear bumper of the car being passed. So, it really doesn't matter if Chris was above or below the line, only that he was passing on the inside before the start/finish line. That's what made it an illegal pass. Maybe I am wrong, and I am sure someone will let me know about it, if I am. I think those are track rules though, and I expect that the Bandos have to follow them like all the other classes. Ted Musgrave got caught with this rule in a truck race about 8 or 10 years ago.
Also, just my opinion, but I think that if I were the Race Director, and my son were in a race, I would leave the booth and be out in the stands for that race. I would let someone else fill in as Race Director for that one. Maybe Mike does put someone else in charge of that race. I don't know. He should.

Dave, weren't you beat by a 14 year old girl in her first race in a $300 car? I was two laps ahead of Bridget. The MyLaps splits are on my site. If you can do math and can add it's pretty obvious. Mike agreed because I got points for finishing ahead of her. Transponder issues. I'm not the one trying to prove my manhood by outspending in the Bomber class. If you were half as good as you think you are you'd be in SLM. Grow a pair. Any day in equally prepared cars, no problem.

Yeah yeah yeah, I knew you were gonna say that and your time and money invested for that performance is still sub par.
I doubt youy have the smarts to compete in an equally well prepared car with me, so good luck on that one. We will see next year right? You might want to aim higher than #96 because 96X is ready for paint and we didn't build it to go slower... unlike you I've learned alot in my first year of cirlce track racing. And then there's version three with the interior stripped and ready to build. Are you pouting yet?
